Background:

The facilities at Conyers School include nine laboratories, three workshops for technology, seven computer rooms, drama studio, music suite, ceramics room, library connected to an existing resources centre with audio-visual equipment and computers, as well as two large gymnasia. The sixth form is based in a separate building with a common room, a computer room and a study area. All students are able to access their school coursework on-line from home. The senior choir, Umoja, has acquired a national reputation for innovative excellence. Supported by the Football Foundation, the school has a full-size floodlit, artificial grass pitch which is the centre of flourishing community sports programme, Go sport. Needless to say, with such facilities, the boys and girls perform extremely well, winning a wide range of trophies each year in most major sports. Conyers is a friendly place, characterised by excellent relationships between students, staff and parents.
